Craig Cummings became the Senior Pastor of Union Baptist Church in April 2000. He has been in the ministry since he was 17 years old serving in a wide variety of ministries including as a Senior Pastor in Apex, North Carolina; a Children's and Youth Minister; Recreation Minister; and Media Director. Pastor Craig has been married to Jennifer since 1991 and they have two precious daughters: Anna and Rachel.  Jennifer is a stay-at-home Mom who is deeply involved in the Children's Ministry here as well as the school their girls attend.

Our Pastor thrives on spending time with his family. He and Jennifer are devoted to raising their girls in a godly manner. As a volunteer, he is involved with his daughter's school, Junior Pro Basketball coaching, Knoxville Tourism Volunteer and other endeavors.

Pastor Craig teaches in an systematic exegetical way which shows the clarity of the Bible for our lives in the 21st Century. Over and over he has emphasized community outreach, prayer and spiritual growth for believers. We thank God for his leadership and weekly challenges to us.

Each week, Pastor Craig opens God's Word to explain the truth that is found in the Bible.  Quite frequently, Pastor Craig goes through a Book of the Bible or even a stand alone series.  Join us on Sunday mornings at 10:15 a.m. or Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m. for truth from God's Word.
